La Nandina (Nandina domestica) es un arbusto que alcanza los 2 m de altura y destaca por los cambios de coloración que experimentan sus hojas a lo largo del año, así como por el contraste entre el color rojo de sus frutos y el verde de sus hojas. Sus propiedades celestiales supuestamente le dan el poder de disipar las pesadillas.
